How to Setup Android Point of Sale

    Android Settings


    • Settings / System / Date & Time / Select Time Zone = Pick the local time zone.
    • Settings / Display / Advanced / Font Size / Large


    Software


    1. Install F-Droid (https://f-droid.org).

    2. Install Aurora Store via F-Droid.

    3. Install Gboard via Aurora Store.
      1. Open to enable keyboard.
      2. Preferences / Number Row / ON
      3. Preferences / Advanced / Share usage statistics / OFF
      4. Preferences / Advanced / Personalization / OFF
      5. Preferences / Advanced / Improve voice and typing for everyone / OFF

    4. Install Square Point-of-Sale App via Aurora Store.
      1. Open Square.
      2. Login to your store.
      3. Settings / Hardware / Square Reader / Connect a Reader
      4. Allow updates to complete.

    5. Install ConnectWise Control via Aurora Store.
      1. Open ConnectWise Control.
      2. Open Active Connections
      3. Add https://help.fixmyapp.com to Active Connections.
      4. Grant All Permissions to ConnectWise Control App.
      5. Transfer Parker App to POS.

    6. Add App Repository to F-Droid
      1. Open F-Droid.
      2. Open Settings.
      3. Open Repositories.
      4. New Repository.
      5. Enter your store address. (Ex: https://company.parkerticketing.com)

    7. Install Parker App via F-Droid
      1. Open Parker.
      2. Connect to your store web address. (Ex: company.parkerticketing.com)
